Technologies

• NCDI Surround: This improved surround uses a supercritical synthetic organic polymer created through an NDCI (Nano-Cell Direct Injection) molding process. This high efficiency design offers low distortion with low-end bass extension in a surround technology resistant to dry rot.
• VCCF (Voice Coil Composite Former): The voice coil former is comprised of a high-performance composite material (polyimide resin glass & epoxy resin glass fiber) rigorously tested to withstand extreme heat. This material has low magnetic susceptibility and is an insulator to prevent inductive effects and eddy currents, resulting in minimal motor distortion.
• Dual Spiders: The voice coil carrier features an asymmetrically aligned 2-spider design to deliver enhanced bass response. Each spider works together to handle a range of low-end notes, ensuring you never miss any bass-hits in your music.
• Multi-Vent Pole Piece: The pole piece uses a voice coil direct venting array system to further dissipate heat generated by the voice coil.
• Aluminum Spider Spacer: The spider spacer helps dissipate thermal build-up across the suspension by using heat-sinking aluminum material on the outside of the spider.
• CTA-2031: Power handling on Rockford Fosgate speakers conform to CTA-2031 industry standards.
• Klippel Verified: Klippel is a speaker certification program allowing us to deliver the best possible subwoofers.
• IDHSTM Inductive Damping Heat Sink: Secures directly to the top of magnet structure to improve system efficiency by reducing both distortion and back EMF (Electo-Magnetic Force) of the woofer. IDHS also utilizes fins to radiate heat and reduce voice coil temperature.
• SYMS: The unique motor structure design allows full excursion capabilities of the woofers voice coil while allowing an overall reduction in woofer mounting depth.
• EVCC: Our EVCC (Encapsulated Voice Coil Coupling) technology connects to the woofers voice coil from both the top and bottom and provides a more secure mounting platform for both the dual spiders and cone assembly.
• VAST Surround - Subs: The Vertical Attach Surround Technique significantly increases a subwoofer's effective radiating cone area up to 25%.
• FlexFit Basket - Subwoofer: The slot mounted frame pattern allows fine-tuning of the subwoofer's mounting position.
• Stitched Tinsel Leads: Improved reliability and performance by reducing fatigue and possible shorting.
