The Orion XTRPRO102D is built for serious bass performance. Specifically, it is designed as a 10 inch dual 2 ohm competition car subwoofer . As a result, it delivers powerful and controlled low-frequency output. With 1250W RMS and 5000W peak power , it is made for high-output audio systems that demand strength and reliability.
Additionally, the dual 2-ohm voice coil design allows flexible wiring options. Because of this, it is easier to match amplifier loads in powerful systems. Therefore, the XTRPRO102D works well in competition builds, high-output daily drivers, and custom bass setups.
Built for Extreme Power Handling
To support high power levels, the XTRPRO102D uses a UV-coated reinforced paper cone . Moreover, it features a durable Santoprene surround . Together, these materials help control cone movement while keeping bass tight and accurate.
At its core, the subwoofer includes a 2.5-inch aluminum-wound voice coil on a Kapton former . As a result, heat control is improved during heavy use. In addition, dual flat Conex spiders with loop-stitched tinsel leads help keep the cone stable during hard movement.
A 133 oz ferrite magnet motor structure provides strong control and efficiency. Therefore, bass remains deep and powerful at higher output levels. The subwoofer is also built on a proprietary cast aluminum frame , which adds strength and helps improve cooling.
