8" Mid-woofer power ratings are figured using an electronic high pass crossover with a minimum crossover point of 70 Hz at 24 dB/Octave, 80 Hz at 18 dB/Octave, or 100 Hz at 12 dB/Octave.

3" Point-source power ratings are figured using an electronic high pass crossover with a minimum crossover point of 400 Hz at 24 dB/Octave, 500 Hz at 18 dB/Octave, or 600 Hz at 12 dB/Octave. Use the included passive crossover for the point-source tweeter in both passive and active crossover configurations.

Audio Dynamics speakers were designed to reproduce music with ultimate accuracy.
The 3000 series 8" uses our new Basalt paper cone and then we added an acoustically-transparent chemical to help the soft parts resist moisture. We've gone to similar lengths in developing our tweeter components which use a high grade of transparent silk dome and a powerful neodymium motor to produce clear and effortless highs.
